China Fashion Week, established in 1997 and held twice a year (March & October) in Beijing, is a promotional and trading platform for common recognized fashion (ready-to-wear) new products, design and technology.
In 2011, China Fashion Week has established a strategic partnership with Mercedes-Benz, the international automobile brand leader. Since then, China Fashion Week has become one member of worldwide Mercedes-Benz Fashion Weeks and stepped onto a new stage of its globalization.
Composition of Events
China Fashion Week, after 20 years’ development and perfection, has become into an international integrated services platform of promoting image, presenting innovation, popularizing fashion for famous Chinese and Foreign fashion brands. The events consist of fashion show, special exhibition, design contest, press conference, thematic forum and professional appraisal and selection, etc. 1. Fashion Show
Held for famous brands and designers, shows include high fashion, ready-to-wear, accessories, make-up and styling etc. Each show lasts up to 30 minutes. 2. Special Exhibition China Fashion Association and China Fashion Week Organizing Committee hold DHUB and Chinese young fashion designer workshop (10+3 Showroom) with renowned shopping malls or professional organizations. 3. Design Contest Cooperated with famous brands or professional organizations, China Fashion Week Organizing Committee and China Fashion Association hold professional contests of high fashion, ready-to-wear etc, which will last up to 40 minutes. 4. Press Conference Held for renowned brands, sponsors, cooperated organizations, the press conference will last up to 40 minutes and the press reception 80 minutes. 5. Thematic Forum Cooperated with famous brands or professional organizations, China Fashion Association and China Fashion Week Organizing Committee hold Beijing Fashion Forum, which includes thematic summit, cultural salon, fashion trends seminar, etc. 6. Professional Appraisal and Selection China Fashion Association and China Fashion Week Organizing Committee organize series of annual award evaluation, which includes China Fashion Design Top Award, China Fashion Week Best Fashion Designer Award, China Top Ten Fashion Designers Award, China Fashion Week Best Model Award, China Top Ten Professional Models Award, China Fashion Week Best Photographer, Fashion Commentator, Cosmetician Award and Fashion Brand Award.
Project Application Chinese and foreign fashion (ready-to-wear) brands with legal and valid trademark registration certificate, clear brand ownership, good brand reputation and market impact all are allowed for application. 1. Registration Please make sure that the registration form and required documents are submitted to Mercedes-Benz China Fashion Week Organizing Committee at least 60 days before the opening day of MBCFW (for press conferences, at least 30 days). 2. Approval Qualified organizations, brands or designers will get the official invitation signed by Mercedes-Benz China Fashion Week Organizing Committee, and then the registration fee should be paid for the arrangement of official calendar. 3. Confirmation Approved organizations, brands or designers should confirm the name, time and venue of their own fashion shows and sign an agreement with Mercedes-Benz China Fashion Week Organization Committee, in order to be entitled for shows or specific projects during Mercedes-Benz China Fashion Week.
Venues Organizing Committee of China Fashion Week designates 751D·PARK, Beijing Hotel and China Central Place as official exclusive venues, and all official venues are equipped with basic facilities, such as fashion show hall, changing room, dressing room and VIP room, etc. Besides, 751D·PARK and Beijing hotel are respectively equipped with press center and press conference hall. 1. 751 D·PARK Located at 2 Jiuxianqiao Road, Chaoyang District, Beijing, a world renowned fashion & culture display center. Fashion Show Halls Central Hall: mainly applied to fashion shows of frontier independent designer brands, covers 1000 square meters, can accommodate 350 persons, personalized and exquisite space;
Workshop: mainly applied to fashion shows of modern designer brands, covers 1500 square meters, can accommodate 500 persons, flexible space. Press Conference Hall People Talk Bema: covers 250 square meters, can accommodate 120 persons, fully equipped with basic lights and acoustics facilities. 2. Beijing Hotel Located at No.33, East Chang’an Avenue, Beijing, neighboring Tian’anmen Square and Wangfujing Street, the most antique and unique 5-star hotel in Beijing. Fashion Show Halls Banquet Hall: mainly applied to fashion shows of custom-made brands with traditional cultural connotation, covers 1800 square meters, can accommodate 500 persons, traditional Chinese style and magnificent elegance. Press Conference Hall Multi-function Hall: covers 350 square meters, can accommodate 150 persons, fully equipped with basic lights and acoustics facilities. 3. China Central Place Located at No.87, Jianguo Road, Beijing, the center of Beijing CBD, advantageous geographical position and convenient transportation. This commercial circle, as Beijing landmark, assembled with high-end shopping malls, business buildings, hotels and apartments, is a fashion and modern international commercial circle. Fashion Show Hall China Fashion Field: mainly applied to fashion shows of national and foreign high-end commercialized ready-to-wear brands with good brand popularity, reputation and market impact, covers about 800 square meters, can accommodate 500 persons, single-deck tent, simple and modern space.
1. Fashion Show ◆ Registration Fee (including arrangement and releasing of official calendar, edition & printing of Fashion China Daily): 30,000RMB (non-official venue); 15,000RMB (official venue).
◆ Venue Fee (including venue rental, ticket printing, basic stage, light & acoustics equipment on-site management, media coverage):
Central Hall, 751 D·PARK: 68,000RMB/event (afternoon);
Workshop, 751 D·PARK: 88,000 RMB/event (afternoon);
Banquet Hall, Beijing Hotel: 78,000RMB, 88,000RMB, 128,000RMB/event (morning, afternoon, evening);
China Fashion Field, China Central Place: 198,000RMB/event (evening). 2. Press Conference ◆ Venue Fee (including venue rental, calendar releasing, media invitation, acoustics equipment, conference service): 30,000RMB

◆ Make-up and hairdressing (including creative design of make-up and hairdressing, on-site make-up and hairdressing): 5,000-15,000 RMB/event
◆ Model (agent fee included): 2,000-3,000RMB/show (Category B), 5,000-6,000RMB/ show (Category A), 8,000-10,000RMB/ show (Category Super A), top professional models to be negotiated.
◆ Stage Design (price decided by planning scheme of stage design, using basic stage design is recommended )
Note: Models’ catering on rehearsal day and show day should be at the participator’s expense.
